Abstract
The article examines the importance of maintaining environmental sustainability in the construction of residential and non-residential buildings. It analyzes the impact of construction activities on the environment, including resource consumption, pollution, and carbon footprint growth. Special attention is given to the principles of sustainable and green building and their role in reducing negative environmental effects. The paper also considers modern eco-friendly technologies aimed at improving energy efficiency and enhancing the quality of human life. It concludes that the implementation of environmentally oriented approaches in architectural practice is a key factor for sustainable development.
