Abstract

This article examines the interrelationship between language, speech, and intercultural communication in oral interpretation from linguistic, psycholinguistic, and pragmatic perspectives. It highlights cognitive mechanisms such as rapid comprehension, working memory, inference, and reformulation strategies. The study shows that interpreting effectiveness depends not only on linguistic competence but also on intercultural awareness and discourse sensitivity.
