Abstract

This article offers an artistic-aesthetic analysis of the female character within the oeuvre of Abdulhamid Sulaymon o‘g‘li Cho‘lpon, a prominent figure in 20th-century Uzbek Enlightenment literature. It explores the socio-spiritual ideas conveyed through female imagery in the author’s publicistic, lyrical, and dramatic works, underscoring their role in the context of the Jadid movement and their connection to the national awakening process. Throughout the study, Cho‘lpon’s perspectives on women's rights, educational opportunities, and social status are elucidated through the examination of specific literary works.

The analysis of primary sources substantiates Cho‘lpon's distinctive stylistic approach to the artistic perception of gender issues, demonstrating the enduring value of these ideas for contemporary literary studies.
