Abstract

This article analyzes the challenges of ensuring water resource sustainability within cluster systems based on the integration of circular economy and Lean Production principles. The study investigates waste factors, specifically "Muda," arising in water consumption processes and examines mechanisms for efficient resource utilization driven by the Kaizen (continuous improvement) philosophy. Furthermore, it evaluates the role of domestic wastewater and rainwater as alternative sources, alongside their respective treatment and filtration technologies within cluster operations. Drawing on French experience, closed-loop management models, water recycling systems, and the implementation of innovative technologies in cluster systems are explored. Based on the research findings, practical proposals and recommendations aimed at enhancing water resource efficiency and sustainability in clusters are developed.
