Abstract

This research paper is dedicated to the artistic and philosophical interpretation of the image of Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) in the epics of the immortal “Khamsa” by the great thinker Alisher Navoi. The work provides a comparative and statistical analysis of the use of this image in the epics “The Confusion of the Righteous”, “Farhad and Shirin”, “Layli and Majnun”, “Seven Planets”, and “The Wall of Alexander”. Through the analysis of specific couplets, it demonstrates how Navoi utilized the figure of Yusuf to reflect concepts of divine beauty, love, patience, and the trials of fate.
