Abstract
This article analyzes the linguocultural characteristics of phraseological units in the Russian language. The role of phraseological units in expressing the national mentality, national thinking, cultural values, and historical experience is highlighted. During the study, the semantic, stylistic, and cultural characteristics of stable combinations in the Russian language were considered from a linguocultural point of view. The significance of phraseological units in the national worldview and communicative processes was also revealed.
