Abstract
This article examines the influence of bicycle technical condition on cyclist safety, riding efficiency, and sports performance. The technical condition of the braking system, wheels, tires, chain, gear transmission system, and steering components was analyzed as the main factors affecting safe and efficient cycling. The importance of regular technical maintenance and timely repair in preventing mechanical failures and sports-related injuries is also considered. The analysis demonstrates that maintaining a bicycle in proper technical condition is an important factor in ensuring cyclist safety and improving riding efficiency.
