Abstract
This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the regulatory and legal foundations of the status of military personnel and the mechanisms for their state guarantee.
Legal gaps in the legislation on improving the status of military personnel were also analyzed, and practical proposals for their elimination were put forward.
