Abstract
The development of reperfusion syndrome following systemic thrombolytic therapy was associated with a progressive immunoinflammatory imbalance, manifested by a sequential increase in IL-6, IL-10, and the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR). The findings suggest that the combination of a dynamic rise in IL-6 and NLR may serve as a potential laboratory marker for an adverse post-reperfusion course and outcome. Longitudinal monitoring of IL-6, IL-10, and NLR holds greater diagnostic and prognostic value than a single measurement taken at admission.
