Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly become an important component of modern education, transforming traditional approaches to language teaching and learning. In English lan guage education, AI-based technologies provide learners with personalized instruction, immediate feedback, adaptive learning materials, automated language assessment, and opportunities for interactive communication. This article examines the role of Artificial Intelligence in enhancing English language learning, with particular attention to personalized learning, speaking and writing development, vocabulary acquisition, grammar instruction, and learner motivation. The study is based on an analysis of recent academic literature and theoretical approaches to technology-assisted language learning. The findings indicate that AI can significantly increase learners’ opportunities for practice and provide individualized support that is difficult to achieve in conventional classroom environments. At the same time, effective implementation requires attention to data privacy, technological accessibility, accuracy of AI-generated feedback, academic integrity, and the continuing importance of teachers. The article concludes that AI should be regarded not as a replacement for English language teachers but as a complementary pedagogical tool capable of improving the effectiveness, flexibility, and accessibility of language education.
